My coaching is tailored to you as an individual, taking account of your lifestyle, event plans and your fitness and motivation levels. I provide coaching under two programmes, “performance” or “preparation” (the latter for a maximum of four months) as follows:

• An initial discussion (no charge).

• Onboarding/set up phase of 2-3 weeks (one off charge).

• Coaching phase (monthly charge).

Monthly coaching programmes : Performance or Preparation

Included in both:

• Schedule of detailed training sessions (provided monthly).

• Modification of training sessions.

• Review of performance against objectives.

• Assessment of event demands including taper and recovery.

• Guidance on core, flexibility, warm-up, cool down.

Included in Performance only:

• Annual Plan (AP) with training phases and one revision per annum.

• Weekly analysis of data and your feedback.

• Periodic testing and review of training zones.

• Bi-Weekly discussion/calls.

• Weekly review of email queries.

Included in Preparation (4 month maximum period) only:

• Weekly review of feedback.

• Further testing at the end of the preparation period.

• Monthly discussion/call.

Please note that this option can cover either cycling or running but not both i.e. not duathlon coaching.

Onboarding

For the “Performance” services , the onboarding includes:

1. Your completion of a detailed Athlete Profile

2. Initial testing to establish benchmarks, training zones and targets

3. Discussions on goals . strengths and areas for improvement

4. Outline of priorities and objectives

5. Setting up/editing Training Peaks profile

The “preparation” onboarding includes 4 to 5 and elements of 1 to 3 with the focus being on your readiness to train.
